Pig Blood Curd Returns To Singapore At TANYU After 27 Years
After a 27-year absence, pig blood curd is making its return to Singapore dining tables, and TANYU is among the first restaurant chains bringing back the long-missed delicacy.
From 15 June 2026 onwards, diners can add pig blood curd to selected signature grilled fish dishes across all five TANYU outlets islandwide.
The add-on will be available with TANYU’s Signature Grilled Fish in Spicy and Grilled Fish with Fresh Green Pepper, giving fans of bold, spicy broths a familiar ingredient to enjoy with their meal.
Pig blood curd returns as a grilled fish add-on
Known for its soft, silky and tofu-like texture, pig blood curd is commonly enjoyed in parts of China as an accompaniment to spicy and aromatic dishes.
Its mild flavour allows it to soak up rich broths well, making it a fitting pairing for TANYU’s grilled fish dishes. Diners can expect a smooth, velvety bite alongside the fish and spicy soup base.
For those who have missed the ingredient, this marks a notable return after nearly three decades away from Singapore’s dining scene.
Available with selected TANYU Signature Grilled Fish dishes
The pig blood curd add-on will be available with two selected TANYU dishes:
Signature Grilled Fish in Spicy
Grilled Fish with Fresh Green Pepper
Both dishes are known for their bold flavours, with the pig blood curd adding a softer texture to balance the heat and aromatics of the broth.
Limited-time $2.70 promotion from 15 to 30 June
To mark the return of pig blood curd to Singapore, TANYU is offering a 100g serving at $2.70, down from its usual price of $6.
The promotional price is available for a limited time from 15 to 30 June 2026.
Do note that the promotion is limited to one serving per grilled fish order. There will also be limited servings available daily at each outlet, while stocks last.
Where to find it
The pig blood curd add-on will be available across all five TANYU outlets islandwide from 15 June 2026 onwards.
Exact outlet addresses, opening hours and reservation details were not included in the media alert, so diners should check TANYU’s official platforms before heading down.
