Bread lovers, here’s a reason to make a bakery run this month. Wu Pao Chun Singapore is celebrating its 7th anniversary with a month-long birthday event featuring new creations, bundle promotions and sure-win gachapon prizes.

The celebration runs from 10 June to 5 July 2026 across Wu Pao Chun’s two Singapore outlets at Paragon and Holland Village.

Known for its award-winning breads and Taiwanese baking craft, Wu Pao Chun was founded by Master Baker Wu Pao Chun, the first Asian baker to win individual champion at the Masters de la Boulangerie, also known as the World Bread Masters. He was later named World Baker of the Year by the Union of International Bakers and Confectioners in 2016.

For its Singapore birthday celebration, the bakery is bringing back its champion classics while introducing new loaves, pastries and Singapore-exclusive mochi buns.

New breads and pastries for Wu Pao Chun’s 7th birthday

The anniversary line-up includes several new items for those who enjoy sourdough, fruit loaves and French-style pastries.

One of the new highlights is the Sourdough Loaf 酸种欧包, priced at $8.80. Made with naturally fermented dough and slow-proofed for flavour, the loaf has a blistered crust, chewy crumb and gentle acidity. It can be enjoyed on its own or paired with butter, cheese or charcuterie.

Also available is the French Fruit Loaf 法式干果欧包, priced at $8.80. Made with Wu Pao Chun’s signature French dough and new stone-ground wheat flour, the loaf is filled with walnuts, golden raisins, dried cranberries and diced candied orange peel.

For something richer, the Red Wine Fig & Cream Cheese 酒酿无花果奶酪, priced at $9.80, features the bakery’s French dough with stone-ground wheat flour, layered with fruit and nut flavours.

Pastry fans can also look out for two French-inspired viennoiseries. The Pain aux Raisins 丹麦葡萄卷, priced at $4.20, comes with buttery laminated layers, custard cream and rum-soaked raisins. Do note that this item contains alcohol.

The Pain au Chocolat 巧克力丹麦酥, priced at $4.20, features crisp pastry layers with dark chocolate batons at the centre.

During the anniversary period, customers can enjoy a Mix & Match any 3 croissants bundle at $11.20, usual price $12.60. The bundle includes options such as Almond Croissant, Pain au Chocolat and Pain aux Raisins.

Singapore-exclusive mochi buns from $2.80

Wu Pao Chun is also introducing two new additions to its mochi bun range, both created as Singapore-exclusive flavours.

The Kinako Red Bean Mochi 红豆糬糬, priced at $2.80, takes inspiration from Japanese sweets. It combines toasted Japanese kinako with housemade red bean filling and a chewy mochi centre.

Chocolate lovers can try the Chocolate Lava Mochi 可可糬糬, priced at $2.80. This bun features a molten-style chocolate ganache centre, paired with soft bread and chewy mochi.

These new flavours join the existing Sesame Joy and Nutty Together mochi buns. Customers can get the Mochi 4pcs Bundle at $9.90, usual price $11.20, with mix-and-match options across the four flavours.

Champion breads available during the celebration

Wu Pao Chun’s signature champion breads are also part of the birthday celebration.

The Lychee Rose Royale Champion Royale 荔枝玫瑰, priced at $24.80 for a whole loaf, is one of the bakery’s most well-known creations. The recipe reportedly took 12 months to perfect, with 15 hours of dough rising and three nights of soaking in lychee wine. It features wine-soaked lychee, roasted walnuts and dried rose petals.

Another signature item is the Red Wine Longan Champion Royale 酒酿桂圆, priced at $24.80 for a whole loaf. Made with red wine-soaked longan and walnuts, the bread is gently smoked over six days for a deeper flavour.

As part of the anniversary promotion, customers who purchase any Champion Bread will receive a free soy milk, usual price $2.80. This offer excludes Mini Champion Bread.

Wu Pao Chun birthday promotions from 10 Jun to 5 Jul

From 10 June to 5 July 2026, Wu Pao Chun Singapore will offer several birthday promotions across its outlets.

Customers can receive a free bun with a minimum spend of $18, choosing from Shio Pan, Brown Raisin or Garlic Unforgettable.

There is also a Souvenir Set Bundle for those picking up gifts or teatime treats. The Pineapple Cake 12-piece box is available at 2 for $45, usual price $50, while the Salted Egg Pineapple Cake 12-piece box is available at 2 for $55, usual price $60.
