Singapore diners who enjoy comforting herbal soups will soon have a new spot to check out in the city.

Souper Tang, Malaysia’s award-winning herbal soup chain, is opening its new Singapore flagship store at Raffles City Shopping Centre on 29 July 2026. The brand, which says it has sold over 7 million bowls of soup, will bring 15 signature herbal soups to its new outlet in Singapore.

Located in the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre, the restaurant will serve not only soups, but also a wider menu of wok dishes, rice, noodles and desserts inspired by traditional Chinese wellness cuisine.

Malaysia Herbal Soup Chain Souper Tang Arrives In Singapore

Souper Tang was founded in 2009 by two Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners and Chinese herbal specialists.

The brand’s menu is built around the idea of nourishing dishes made with natural ingredients, with soups and dishes created to support strength, complexion and vitality. Its approach is inspired by Shan Cuisine, the Chinese practice of medicinal food, where ingredients are chosen for both flavour and their restorative qualities.

Today, Souper Tang has grown to over 20 outlets across ASEAN. The brand is also recognised in the Malaysia Book of Records for milestones including Largest Soup Chain, Most Herbal Soup Sold in a Year and Most Bird’s Nest Sold in a Year.

For Singapore diners, the new Raffles City outlet means there is now a more convenient way to try the soups that some fans previously travelled across the Causeway for.

15 Signature Herbal Soups At Raffles City

The highlight of Souper Tang Singapore will be its selection of 15 signature soups, which the brand says is the largest range of herbal soups available in any herbal soup restaurant in Singapore.

Each soup is slow-brewed with herbs and premium ingredients, with different options created for modern needs such as tiredness, restless nights, stress and skin care.

Signature soups include:

Souper Tang Signature Soup

American Ginseng Black Chicken Soup with Aged Black Garlic

Mountain Pepper Pork Tripe Soup

Golden Fish Maw Soup with Scallop

Golden Stewed Fish Soup in Stone Pot

These soups are designed for diners who want something warm, nourishing and familiar, especially those who grew up with home-brewed herbal soups as part of family meals.

More Than Soup: Wok Dishes, Rice, Noodles And Desserts

The new Souper Tang outlet will also serve over 50 dishes, extending the same herbal wellness approach beyond soups.

The menu includes meat, vegetables, beancurd, rice, noodles and other dishes inspired by traditional Chinese cooking.

Signature dishes include:

Home Braised Pork Belly in Rich Dark Special Sauce

Stir-Fried French Bean with Pu’er

Paper-Wrapped Herbal Chicken with Rice

Sesame Oil Ginger Wine and Herbs Chicken Mee Sua

Sizzling Barramundi Slices with Bentong Ginger and Garlic

For its Singapore opening, Souper Tang will also introduce a selection of dishes created exclusively for the local market. These will be available for a limited time only, though the full list of Singapore-exclusive items has not been provided yet.

Priority Access Reservations From 20 To 26 July

Before opening to the public, Souper Tang will run a Priority Access Reservation Period from 20 to 26 July 2026.

During this period, diners can reserve tables for the opening days from 29 July to 1 August 2026. Guests with a confirmed Priority Access reservation can skip the queue and will also receive a complimentary gift.

Walk-ins will still be welcome during the opening period, but seats will be subject to availability.

To reserve, diners can look out for the Priority Access post on Souper Tang’s social media, leave a comment with “I WANT”, and wait for an automated direct message. The message will include the reservation link, outlet details and steps to secure a slot.

Complimentary Blind Bag Retail Item For Priority Access Guests

Each Priority Access reservation comes with one complimentary retail item per guest, worth up to S$6.90 each.

The item will be given as a Blind Bag, so diners will only find out which flavour they receive after opening it.

The complimentary item will be randomly drawn from a curated selection of Souper Tang retail favourites from Malaysia, including:

Sesame Oil Ginger Wine & Herbs Chicken Mee Suah

Mountain Pepper Pork Tripe Soup Ramen

Cordyceps Flower Nourishing Soup

Corn & Lotus Seed Nourishing Broth

A New Herbal Soup Option In The City

With its location at Raffles City Shopping Centre, Souper Tang Singapore will likely appeal to office workers, families, shoppers and anyone looking for a warm, comforting meal in the city.

The restaurant opens on 29 July 2026, with Priority Access reservations available from 20 to 26 July 2026 for diners who want to be among the first to visit.

Prices, opening hours and the full Singapore-exclusive menu have not been announced in the provided information.

Pro Tip

Raffles City Shopping Centre is directly connected to City Hall MRT, making it convenient for lunch, dinner or weekend visits. For the opening period from 29 July to 1 August 2026, diners who want to avoid waiting may want to try securing a Priority Access reservation before heading down.
