Bari Bari Steak fans will soon have another place to get their sizzling teppan steak fix.
The Hong Kong teppan steak concept is opening its third Singapore outlet at VivoCity on 8 July 2026, bringing its signature hot stone dining experience to the HarbourFront mall. The new outlet will also introduce a wider range of teppan creations, including pork, beef, chicken, seafood and plant-based options.
For diners who enjoy a hands-on steak experience, Bari Bari Steak’s format lets you finish your meat on a hot stone at the table, so you can cook each bite to your preferred doneness.
Bari Bari Steak Opens At VivoCity On 8 July
The new Bari Bari Steak VivoCity outlet marks the brand’s latest expansion in Singapore.
Known for its teppan steak sets and interactive hot stone dining, the brand will now offer diners another convenient location in one of Singapore’s busiest lifestyle malls.
The VivoCity outlet is expected to appeal to those looking for a hearty meal before or after a Sentosa outing, shopping trip or weekend movie date. As opening hours, unit number and reservation details were not provided in the announcement, diners should check Bari Bari Steak’s official channels before heading down.
New Teppan Creations From $19.90
To mark the VivoCity opening, Bari Bari Steak is introducing several new teppan dishes.
One of the highlights is the Premium Buta Teppan ($21.90), featuring chestnut-fed pork cuts that are seasoned and seared on the teppan. Beef lovers can try the Yakiniku Beef Teppan ($22.90), made with thinly sliced beef short plate glazed in a savoury marinade.
For a family-friendly chicken option, there is the Jumbo Chicken Leg Teriyaki Teppan ($20.90), which comes with a grilled whole chicken leg coated in teriyaki sauce.
Other pork options include the Pork Shogayaki Teppan ($20.90), prepared with thinly sliced Japanese pork and ginger sauce, as well as the Pork Loin & Hamburg Combo Teppan ($26.90), which combines pork and beef on one hot plate.
Chicken, Fish & Plant-Based Options Available
Diners who prefer something lighter can consider the Chicken Nanban Teppan ($19.90), served with a sweet-and-tangy vinegar glaze and creamy tartar sauce.
There is also the Tokusen White Fish Fillet Teppan ($19.90), featuring specially selected white fish fillet seared simply with soy sauce.
Meat-free diners are not left out either. The Truffle Plant-Based Hamburg Teppan ($19.90) features a hamburg steak made from plant-based protein and finished with truffle sauce.
Premium Wagyu & Other Bari Bari Steak Signatures
The new items will be served alongside Bari Bari Steak’s existing premium beef selection.
This includes Japanese A4/A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, a prized Wagyu known for its marbling. The menu also features Australian beef options such as Australian Oyster Blade Steak Teppan, Australian Sirloin Steak Teppan and Diced Cut Steak Teppan.
Other familiar favourites include Wagyu Hamburg Steak Teppan, Premium Pork Loin Steak Teppan, Grilled Mackerel Teppan and Mentaiko Salmon Teppan.
Hot Stone Dining Heated Up To 300°C
Bari Bari Steak’s signature experience centres on its hot stone steak pellet.
Each premium cut is first seared on a professional iron griddle by the chefs before being served with a hot stone steak pellet made from high-density stone from Japan. According to the brand, the stone can be heated up to 300°C, allowing diners to finish cooking the meat at the table.
This makes the meal more interactive, especially for diners who enjoy adjusting the doneness of their steak bite by bite.
Four House-Made Sauces With Every Teppan Set
Each teppan set is served with four house-made Bari Bari sauces.
These include Miyazaki Yakiniku Sauce, a sweet and savoury pairing; Premium Okinawa Salt, which is meant to bring out the natural flavour of the meat; Yuzu Onion Sauce, for a brighter and more refreshing touch; and Wasabi Sauce, for those who like a sharper kick.
The sauces give diners a few different ways to enjoy their teppan meal, whether they prefer something clean, savoury, citrusy or punchy.
Free-Flow Salad Bar With Every Main Course
Every main course or teppan set order also comes with access to Bari Bari Steak’s free-flow salad station.
The salad bar includes fresh greens, side dishes, carb options and a rotating selection of sweet treats and desserts. This makes the teppan sets more filling, especially for diners visiting during lunch or dinner.
Pro Tip
As VivoCity tends to be busy during weekends, school holidays and dinner hours, diners may want to visit slightly earlier if they are planning to eat at the new outlet during its opening period.
Those heading to Sentosa can also consider making this a pre- or post-outing meal, since VivoCity is directly connected to HarbourFront MRT and the Sentosa Express.
