Looking for somewhere new to eat during your next trip to Sentosa? A new beachside dining destination is arriving at Palawan Beach, bringing together familiar Singapore hawker favourites and creative Asian fusion dishes.

Palawan Hawkers will officially open to the public on 4 November 2026 at 11am, featuring eight food-truck concepts at The Palawan @ Sentosa.

With dishes starting from S$5.90, visitors can enjoy everything from traditional Hainanese chicken rice and BBQ sambal seafood to Japanese gyoza, mala scrambled egg rice and freshly made waffles.

The casual food-truck setting also gives beachgoers, families and groups of friends a convenient place to grab a meal while exploring Sentosa.

Eight Food Trucks Offering Local and Asian Favourites

One of the highlights of Palawan Hawkers is its mix of established local recipes and newer food concepts.

Whether you’re craving a familiar hawker dish or something different, here’s what you can expect from the eight food trucks.

1. Qing Heritage Hainanese Chicken Rice — A Recipe Dating Back to the 1940s

Chicken rice lovers can look forward to Qing Heritage Hainanese Chicken Rice, which traces its family recipe back to the 1940s.

Now run by Mrs Teo, the business continues a tradition started by her grandfather more than eight decades ago.

The stall uses kampung chicken and preserves its family’s original preparation methods, including its signature ginger paste and broth.

Food highlight: Hainanese Kampung Chicken Rice.

2. Boon Tat Street BBQ Seafood — Sambal Seafood With Nearly 40 Years of History

For those who enjoy spicy seafood, Boon Tat Street BBQ Seafood brings its signature sambal dishes to Sentosa.

Founder Mr Goh Choon Hua started his seafood business at Lau Pa Sat nearly 38 years ago, developing a chilli sambal sauce that remains central to the menu today.

Expect familiar favourites such as grilled stingray, prawns and sotong, served with the rich flavours of sambal.

Food highlights: BBQ Sambal Stingray, BBQ Prawns and Sotong.

3. Satay Lab — Satay and Grilled Chicken Wings

No Singapore hawker line-up feels quite complete without satay.

Founded by Johan Tan, Satay Lab specialises in grilled satay skewers served with peanut sauce, alongside grilled chicken wings.

It’s an option for visitors looking for something to share while enjoying the beachside atmosphere.

Food highlights: Satay and Grilled Chicken Wings.

4. Fiery Scrambled Egg by Pili Hong — Scrambled Egg Rice With a Mala Twist

If you enjoy spicy food, Fiery Scrambled Egg by Pili Hong offers an interesting take on the scrambled egg rice trend.

Combining creamy scrambled eggs with Sichuan-inspired mala sauces, the concept adds a spicy kick to familiar comfort food.

One of its more unusual creations is Fish and Chips Scrambled Egg Rice, alongside options such as Nanyang Curry Chicken Rice and Minced Pork Noodles.

Food highlights: Fish and Chips Scrambled Egg Rice, Minced Pork Noodles and Nanyang Curry Chicken Rice.

5. Honōto 焱兎 — Japanese Gyoza With Creative Flavours

Gyoza fans can check out Honōto 焱兎, a Japanese-inspired concept from the former owner of DumPrince Dumpling House at Chinatown Point.

The menu features gyoza prepared in different styles, including boiled, pan-fried and deep-fried versions.

Those looking for something less traditional can try variations such as Sichuan Spicy, Cheesy Fried and Sambal Mayo Fried gyoza.

Other Japanese comfort food options include yakitori, chicken karaage and chilled somen.

Food highlights: Gyoza, Yakitori, Chicken Karaage and Handa Chilled Somen.

6. Urban Truck — Indian Flavours With a Modern Twist

Urban Truck combines traditional Indian spices with contemporary fusion cooking.

The menu features dishes prepared with freshly roasted and ground spices, with options ranging from stuffed paratha to cheese-filled creations.

Food highlights: Indian Infused Chicken, Chicken-Stuffed Biryani, Kari Dosa, Cheesy Kola Meatballs and Stuffed Paratha.

7. Palawan Beer House — Laksa, Pizza and Sourdough Toast

Previously known as Cluny Toast at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Palawan Beer House brings a mix of local favourites and restaurant collaborations to its new location.

Visitors can try its Sourdough Peanut Butter Toast, alongside a Signature Laksa from Nyonyas & Gentlemen at Village Katong Hotel.

The menu also includes a Bacon & Egg Pizza created by YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar.

Food highlights: Sourdough Peanut Butter Toast, Bacon & Egg Pizza and Signature Laksa.

8. Creamy Duck Milkshake Bar — Waffles, Milkshakes and Açaí Bowls

Those with a sweet tooth can finish their meal at Creamy Duck Milkshake Bar.

The returning brand, which previously operated outlets across tertiary institutions in Singapore, offers traditional waffles with both familiar and contemporary flavours.

Highlights include the Kunafa Pistachio Waffle, Classic Kaya Waffle and Triple Chocolate Milkshake.

Visitors looking for something refreshing can also choose freshly cut fruit, juices and açaí bowls.

Food highlights: Kunafa Pistachio Waffle, Classic Kaya Waffle, Triple Chocolate Milkshake and The Watermelon Bowl.

A Pet-Friendly Dining Spot by Palawan Beach

Beyond its food offerings, Palawan Hawkers provides a casual beachside setting where visitors can enjoy different cuisines in one location.

The dining destination is also pet-friendly, making it an option for those visiting Sentosa with their furry companions.

Located within The Palawan @ Sentosa, it is near attractions such as HyperDrive, HydroDash and UltraGolf.

Visitors can therefore combine a meal with a day of activities or simply stop by for lunch or dinner after spending time at the beach.
