National Day celebrations are about more than fireworks and red-and-white outfits. For many Singaporeans, they are also tied to the flavours we grew up with — from icy desserts on hot afternoons to old-school treats shared with family and friends.
This year, Cat & the Fiddle is marking Singapore’s 61st birthday with two new limited-edition cheesecakes inspired by familiar local memories: Ice Kacang Cheesecake and Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake.
Both flavours are created for the National Day season and will be available for pre-order from 29 June 2026 through Cat & the Fiddle’s online store and retail outlets. The earliest collection and delivery date is 8 July 2026.
Cat & the Fiddle’s official website also lists the two SG61 flavours as part of its National Day cake lineup, and states that its products are 100% MUIS halal-certified.

Ice Kacang Cheesecake inspired by a classic local dessert
Few desserts feel as nostalgic in Singapore as ice kacang. From its old-school shaved ice roots to the colourful bowls many of us still enjoy today, it is a familiar treat for cooling down in our very humid weather.
Cat & the Fiddle’s new Ice Kacang Cheesecake gives the local dessert a chilled cheesecake twist.
The cake features a red bean gula melaka cheese mousse, layered with pandan jelly cubes and sweet corn jelly. Inside, there is also a rose-infused sponge centre, adding a light floral note to the dessert.
To complete the National Day look, the cheesecake is finished with a smooth red bean topping and red-and-white soft chantilly cream.
According to the brand, the Ice Kacang Cheesecake is best enjoyed straight from the freezer, giving it a cold and velvety texture that fits the dessert’s icy inspiration.
The Ice Kacang Cheesecake is priced at S$48.90 for a whole cake and S$6.90 per slice.
Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake pays tribute to ice cream uncles
The second limited-edition launch is the Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake, inspired by another familiar part of growing up in Singapore: the neighbourhood ice cream uncle.
For many Singaporeans, ice cream carts outside schools, along busy streets or near shopping areas bring back memories of affordable afternoon treats, especially on warm days.
Cat & the Fiddle’s version features New York cheese mousse rippled with raspberry jam, paired with a raspberry cheese mousse for a brighter berry flavour.
A soft vanilla sponge layer adds contrast, while chantilly cream and berry crumbles give the cheesecake a festive finish.
The Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake is priced at S$52.90 for a whole cake and S$6.90 per slice.
SG61 promotion: 61% off the second cheesecake
To celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday, Cat & the Fiddle is also running a National Day promotion.
From 1 to 9 August 2026, customers can enjoy 61% off the second cheesecake when they purchase two cheesecakes, with at least one being either the Ice Kacang Cheesecake or Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake.
The offer is available while stocks last.
This could be useful for families planning a National Day gathering, office celebrations or anyone bringing dessert to a get-together.
Pre-orders start from 29 June 2026
Both limited-edition National Day cheesecakes will be available for pre-order from 29 June 2026 via Cat & the Fiddle’s online store and retail outlets.
The earliest collection and delivery date is 8 July 2026.
All Cat & the Fiddle products are halal-certified, making the cakes suitable for a wider group of friends, colleagues and family members.
Pro Tip
Planning to order for a National Day gathering? As the promotion runs only from 1 to 9 August 2026 and is available while stocks last, it may be better to decide on your flavours early, especially if you are ordering for office sharing or a weekend family celebration.
