In Singapore, spicy food is a must. Although some of us cannot stomach spicy food, others enjoy it. Welcome to the spicy food trials, for people who enjoy fiery and spicy delicacies. Here’s where I’ll show you some of Singapore’s spiciest food:

Ramen Champion
For starters, check out the signature spicy sukiyaki pork ramen by Buta God at Ramen Champion. Their Red Hell Ramen (from $16.80) has four levels of spice, with the sinister-sounding “Go To Hell” topping the list. That means a terrifying dish topped with dollops of chilli paste and plenty of chilli oil to make you cry. Ready to take up the challenge? Visit them or get it delivered to you island wide on Oddle.

The crispy chicken skin was created with a specific white chilli combination that was extremely fiery, making you sweat just thinking about it.
Their Goma Chilli Wings is topped with some sesame seeds and is a less spicy alternative or go for their Teriyaki Wings that are a delight as well. For delivery check them out at

Chong Qing Grilled Fish
Chong Qing Grilled Fish is of course known for their fish. For those that can take the heat, the Patin Fish with Fresh Chillies (from $48.50) is a grilled fish that is served in a pool of crimson hot sauce with chili peppers.
Despite this, hundreds of guests have flocked to the restaurant to sample this sweat-inducing dish. This meal combines the classic Sichuan hotpot with grilled fish and comes in a range of sauces with varying levels of spiciness. Up to the maximum spicy numbing level spice lovers have come to know and love. Visit if you want the dish to be delivered or ordering in advance for takeaway.

Every day, fresh Indonesian sambal is prepared in house, and the spice level can be adjusted from 1 to 15. The spiciest meal they have is the Level 27 Ayam Geprek ($13.70) where if you can finish the dish within 5 minutes, you wont have to pay for your meal! For the more normal spice lovers who want the heat without having your body to suffer, we recommend going for their Original Ayam Geprek ($6.90) with a starting point of Level 10 heat.

Southwest Tavern
Southwest Tavern may appear to be just another diner providing standard burgers and steaks, but it has one of the spiciest food on this list. The Spaghetti from Hell Challenge ($26), in which you must finish an entire dish of spaghetti in 10 minutes, may be found here.
It’s so hot that it can burn your throat as they use ghost peppers with a Scoville score of 1,041,427 SHU. Doing the math, it is about 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce plus there are bonus chilli padi and chilli flakes added to the dish as well. You’ll have to sign an indemnity agreement before taking on this challenge, which should give you an idea of how fiery this ordinary serving of spaghetti is.
