This year’s collection introduces a curated quartet of baked mooncakes with an entirely new flavour lineup.
The first is the Baked Skin Custard Filling with Egg Yolk 焗香奶皇咸蛋黄月饼, a familiar flavour for fans of custard mooncakes. The Black Pearl’s version features a light and creamy custard centre in low-sugar white lotus seed paste, wrapped in a gold-dusted charcoal crust.
For those who prefer a classic option, there is the Low Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk 双黄低糖白莲蓉月饼. This mooncake keeps to the traditional pairing of smooth white lotus paste and savoury double yolks, while offering a lower-sugar profile for a lighter finish.
Tea lovers can look forward to the Longjing with Pumpkin Seeds 龙井茶香南瓜子月饼. Made with premium Longjing tea infused into low-sugar white lotus paste, this mooncake has gentle tea fragrance and sweet vegetal notes. Pumpkin seeds add texture and a subtle crunch.
Rounding off the lineup is the Purple Sweet Potato with Milk Lotus 紫薯奶香莲蓉月饼. The flavour combines earthy purple sweet potato with creamy milk lotus paste, creating a balanced sweetness with roasted chestnut-like notes.
