Gathering the family or catching up with colleagues over a weekday meal? Lao Beijing has introduced a sharing set built around crispy roast duck and comforting Chinese dishes.
The Ultimate Roast Duck Indulgence Set is priced at $88++ for four persons, which works out to $22++ per diner before any add-ons.
Available for weekday lunch and dinner from Mondays to Fridays, the six-course set is offered for a limited period, with only a limited number of sets available each day.
Six dishes designed for sharing

The meal begins with two refreshing appetisers: cherry tomatoes infused with roselle and smashed cucumber with sesame oil, garlic and chilli.
Diners will also receive stir-fried kai lan with minced garlic, adding a straightforward vegetable dish to the spread.
For the set’s tofu course, groups can choose between:
- Seafood tofu served in a paper pot
- Mapo tofu with sliced fish
The official promotional menu lists these as the two available choices for the third course.
Roast Irish duck is the centrepiece
The main attraction is half a roast Irish duck, prepared to achieve a crisp exterior while keeping the meat tender and succulent.
According to Lao Beijing, the duck is marinated for several hours, hung to dry and roasted until it develops a deep maroon colour. The result is intended to provide a contrast between crackling skin and juicy meat.
The roast duck is served as the fifth course in the six-dish sharing menu.
Signature claypot rice cooked with duck bone broth
Completing the set is Lao Beijing’s Signature Claypot Rice.
Instead of being cooked with plain stock, the rice is prepared using premium Irish duck bone broth for a fuller savoury flavour. It is then finished with coriander, spring onions, crispy shallots and a house-made sauce.
This makes the rice a practical final course for sharing, especially for groups looking for something more substantial than roast duck and side dishes alone.
Add hot and sour soup for $1++
Diners can also add one bowl of Hot and Sour Soup with shredded chicken for $1++.
The usual promotional-menu price is listed as $9++, making the add-on useful for anyone who would like a warm and tangy soup alongside the meal.
Do note that the offer refers to a bowl, rather than a communal pot of soup for the entire table.
Other Lao Beijing signature dishes
Those planning a larger meal can order additional dishes from Lao Beijing’s à la carte menu.

Options highlighted by the restaurant include the Awesome Flaming Pineapple Beef at $36, featuring pan-fried beef cubes served inside a fresh pineapple and flambéed before serving.
The Firecracker Chicken Nest at $30 combines deep-fried diced chicken with dried chilli and peppercorns. It is paired with mango purée to add a touch of sweetness against the heat.

Seafood diners can consider The Mermaid – Grilled Barramundi with Collagen Soup Base at $98. The dish features grilled Australian barramundi with tofu, white radish, bamboo shoots and a broth made with collagen and fish bones.

There is also the Lao Beijing Signature D.I.Y. Popiah at $28, which lets diners assemble their own popiah using the accompanying ingredients.
Prices and menu availability may change, so diners should confirm the current menu when making a reservation.
