FairPrice has expanded its fish skin range with Mala Fish Skin and Sauerkraut Fish Skin, bringing familiar flavours inspired by popular Chinese dishes into an easy-to-share snack format.
Both varieties are launching at FairPrice outlets across Singapore in August 2026 and are priced at $8 each.
Mala Fish Skin Brings The Heat
Those who enjoy the familiar combination of chilli and Sichuan peppercorn flavours can try the new FairPrice Mala Fish Skin.

Sauerkraut Fish Skin Offers A Sour And Savoury Twist
The second addition takes inspiration from sauerkraut fish, also commonly known as suan cai yu.
FairPrice’s Sauerkraut Fish Skin combines crispy fish skin with a sour, savoury and spicy flavour profile reminiscent of the Chinese dish.
FairPrice describes this as its first Sauerkraut Fish Skin flavour, giving shoppers a less conventional option to try within the fish skin snack category.
It is also priced at $8 per pack.
