Raise your glasses as the Kanpai Group, known for their renowned gastrobars like Kanpai 2.0, Kanpai 789, and Yoasobi By Kanpai, unveils their newest concept: KeonBae. Inspired by the Korean word for “cheers,” KeonBae is a vibrant highball bar offering an enticing blend of Japanese and Korean cuisine, designed to unite people over innovative drinks and delectable bites.

With highballs starting at just $6.80 all day, it promises to be the perfect spot for any occasion. Spanning 1,000 square feet, KeonBae features both indoor and alfresco seating, merging the vibrant energy of a Korean “pocha” with a sleek, modern aesthetic.

Located in Singapore’s CBD, the venue offers a dynamic escape for the urban crowd. Its bold interior design, complete with LED signage and vivid colors reminiscent of Seoul’s nightlife, sets the stage for unforgettable experiences—whether you’re winding down after work or celebrating with friends.

KeonBae’s menu is a thoughtfully curated mix of innovative dishes and drinks, designed to elevate every bite and sip. Highlights include:

  • Korokke Nugget (SGD 13++): A playful twist on Japanese croquettes, featuring a mix of beef, pork, and duck, served with truffle katsu sauce and crème fraîche.
  • Abalone-Juk Risotto (SGD 25++): A luxurious risotto paired with New Zealand Green Shell abalone and a velvety abalone liver sauce.
  • Roasted Gaji (SGD 8++): Japanese eggplant with chili garlic sauce, gochujang glaze, and pickled shallots for a bold Korean flavor.
  • Dakgalbi Nachos (SGD 16++): Sweet and spicy marinated chicken, melted camembert, and parmesan rice paper crisps for a creative twist on the classic Korean dish.
  • Unagi & Butter “Box” Oshisushi (SGD 18++): Sushi rice topped with luscious unagi and a layer of butter for a perfectly balanced bite.

No Korean meal is complete without fried chicken, and KeonBae delivers with their signature K.F.C. Available in Original, Spicy, Yangnyeom Glaze, and Garlic Soy Glaze, these chicken pieces are triple-fried to golden perfection.

Priced at SGD 13++ for three pieces or SGD 24++ for six, the chicken is marinated for 24 hours and prepared with a unique batter for the ultimate crunch and flavour.

From refreshing highballs to inventive cocktails, KeonBae’s drink selection caters to ever palate. Try their Me, You, Breakfast? (SGD 15++), a creative cocktail inspired by French toast and coffee, or the Plum Honey Shochu Highball (SGD 6.80++), a tribute to Japan’s iconic whiskey highball tradition.

With its bold flavours, lively ambiance, and unbeatable value, KeonBae is poised to become the new favourite for food, drinks, and good times in Singapore.

Address: 38 Pekin Street, #01-01, Singapore 048768

Opening Hours: Monday – Thursday (3pm – 11pm), Friday and Saturday 3pm – 2am).
