Classic Surgical Masks
This surgical mask design is probably what you’d first think of when you hear the word “face mask”. For a classic look, you can get it in the ubiquitous surgical blue, or a basic white or black.
Aside from these there’s also a large variety of colours and patterns available, from gradients to creative designs.
For a more subtle look, you can even get plain masks with little characters embossed on the sides!
3D Korean-Style Mask (KF94)
This mask is officially called the KF94 mask, where “KF” stands for “korean filter” and “94” refers to its 94% filtration efficiency. This design is basically the South Korean version of the N95 mask, and (if you buy a legitimate KF94-standard mask) is one of the best masks to protect you from COVID-19.
This mask is called “3D” because of the extra space it leaves between the mask and face, which gives extra breathing room and helps keep makeup from being rubbed off. Thanks to these features, it’s a very popular mask type.

2D Korean-Style Mask
This is another KF94-rated mask, but in a slightly different shape. The curve of this mask gives it an attractive side profile, which is preferred by some!
Japanese-Style Mask
These Japanese-style masks are similar to the 2D Korean-style masks, but have a gauze-like material on the side instead.
Some even have ear loops made of the soft gauze material for ultimate comfort.
N95 “Duckbill” Mask
This charming and unusual mask that looks like a duck bill caught the world’s attention when Hong Kong’s top COVID-19 expert was seen wearing it. It’s a NIOSH-certified N95 mask, and it’s supposed to be superior to other N95 masks because of its large and flat chamber, which makes it easier to breathe in.
