Sushi-GO has opened their second outlet at AMK Hub, following their first at Jurong Point. While the Jurong Point Sushi-GO uses the popular bullet train design to deliver food to the table, this latest outlet does it differently—it features a network of mini AI robots on tracks, never-before-seen in Singapore!

Completed by the futuristic theme of the restaurant, the mini robots (named GO-Bots) deliver food to your table while sporting a variety of cute expressions. There’s even a bigger robot at the entrance of the restaurant that can bring you to your table!

The Menu

Sushi-GO has over 150 items on their signature menu, and to celebrate the opening of their second outlet at AMK Hub, they have released an array of new dishes at both outlets. Here are some of our favourite dishes we tried!

This beautifully-presented Salmon Dragon Roll (4pc) ($8.90) is filled with unagi, cucumber and cream cheese and topped with seared salmon, mentaiko mayonnaise and shrimp roe. It’s decadently creamy and strong on the mentaiko front, and all the flavours meld perfectly together.

The Lobster Salad-GO (4pc) ($4) has four cucumber maki topped with lobster meat, black flying fish roe, mayonnaise and cheese sauce. The lobster salad is the star here, with the natural sweetness of the lobster complemented by the mild creaminess of the sauce. The cucumber maki adds a nice crunch to the dish, making this a delicious mouthful!

Sushi-GO isn’t kidding with the word “jumbo” in their Jumbo Hotate Sushi (1pc) ($2.50)! The generous hotate (scallop) piece almost completely covers the rice, and when you eat it, the juicy scallop makes for a big bite.

This Aburi Shoyu Butter Aka Ebi Sushi (2pc) ($3.50) has a sweet buttery taste, which is a unique flavour you can’t get from other sushi chains! The prawn is also very tender, which suits the flavour profile of this dish.

Atsugiri Salmon Sashimi

This thick-cut Atsugiri Salmon Sashimi (3pc) ($7.50) is one of the mainstays of Sushi-GO’s menu, and it’s no surprise why! Each sashimi slice is 1.5x thicker than usual, making for a super luxurious bite.

GO-Tsumami Salmon

The GO-Tsumami Salmon (2pc) ($5.80) has salmon nigiri on a sheet of nori, topped with shredded crabstick and ikura. It’s a delicious piece of sushi, and not to be missed!

Warabi Mochi

To end our meal, we had the Warabi Mochi ($3.50). We really enjoyed this dessert, which had cubes of matcha-dusted warabi mochi in a pool of kuromitsu (black sugar syrup). It was sweet but not too cloying, and really delicious!
