Yakiniku Gyubei, a famous Japanese restaurant, is now Singapore’s exclusive home for the world’s best Wagyu beef. This special Wagyu, called Satsuma Beef, won the top prize at the Wagyu Olympics. To celebrate, the restaurant offers a 1-for-1 promotion for a limited time.

What Makes Satsuma Wagyu Special?

Satsuma Wagyu comes from Kagoshima in Japan. Every year, only 3,000 cows are good enough to be called Satsuma Beef. These cows are raised by 12 expert farmers called Meijin masters. They carefully feed their cows special food grown in Japan, like rice plants from Mt. Aso.

Because of this special care, Satsuma beef has rich marbling, is very tender, and tastes creamy and delicious. It won the Wagyu Olympics, a famous beef competition held every five years, making it world-famous.

1-for-1 Wagyu Promotion

Starting 15 May until the end of June 2025, you can enjoy Satsuma Wagyu in Singapore with a special deal. For only $98, you get two sets of Wagyu beef instead of one.

Each set includes six different prime cuts. You might taste sirloin, shoulder loin, rib, rump, thigh, and other special cuts. The exact cuts change daily based on availability, making each meal unique.

Yakiniku Gyubei: Award-Winning Restaurant

Yakiniku Gyubei recently won two big awards from Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. It was named the 2025 Best Casual Yakiniku Restaurant and received the Excellent Food Service Industry Award. It is the only casual yakiniku restaurant to get this prestigious award in 2025.

Head-to-Tail Dining Philosophy

Founded in 1999, Yakiniku Gyubei is famous for its “head-to-tail” approach. This means they use every part of the cow, creating delicious dishes without waste. By using the entire cow from select Wagyu cattle, they offer unique and flavorful experiences that traditional restaurants don’t.

Yakiniku Gyubei now has 22 stores across Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiroshima, making it popular throughout Japan.
