Pizza fans, get ready. One of the biggest names in Italian pizza is now in town. Vincenzo Capuano, World Champion of Contemporary Pizza, is bringing his award-winning Neapolitan-style pizzas to Singapore. His brand-new restaurant at Robertson Quay opens on 17 May 2025, and it’s his first outpost in all of Asia.

This is not just another pizza joint. It’s a place where generations of pizza tradition meet innovation. Expect beautifully blistered crusts, rich Italian ingredients, and a dining experience designed for true pizza lovers.

Who Is Vincenzo Capuano?

Vincenzo Capuano comes from a long line of Italian pizza chefs. He’s a fourth-generation pizzaiolo (pizza maker) from Naples, Italy. He started learning the craft from his father and grandfather at just 15 years old. Since then, he has opened more than 30 restaurants in cities across Europe and the Middle East — including Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Kosovo, and Dubai.

He is also a social media star with over a million followers on TikTok and Instagram, where he showcases pizza-making with flair. In 2022, he won the title of World Champion of Contemporary Pizza, and in 2024, his brand was ranked 12th among the Top 50 World Artisan Pizza Chains.

The Signature Experience: Pizza and Scissors

What makes his pizzas so special? It starts with the dough. Chef Vincenzo developed a unique recipe using “Nuvola Super” flour. The result is a dough that is soft, airy, and light — yet strong enough to hold generous toppings.

Instead of the usual pizza cutter, every table at his restaurant comes with a pair of golden scissors. Diners are invited to cut the pizza themselves — a fun, hands-on way to enjoy the food and test the structure of the dough.

What’s on the Menu in Singapore?

The menu in Singapore is just as exciting as his restaurants in Europe. At the heart of it are contemporary Neapolitan pizzas, made fresh, baked hot, and served with a dose of Naples passion.
