Looking for scenic views or the best vantage points in the CBD? Visit the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay located by Marina Bay Waterfront. Having won the Landscape Award from World Architecture News in 2013, the ‘Best Attraction in Asia Pacific’ from Travel Weekly in 2015 and the ‘Best Attraction Experience’ at the 2019 Singapore Tourism Awards, the Supertrees are definitely the biggest highlight.

In total, there are eighteen Supertrees, with twelve of them clustered together and dubbed the Supertree Grove. The trees are of different heights ranging from 25 to 50 meters tall. Looking super futuristic, it makes it seem like nature and technology is having a symbiosis relationship, just like a Tallneck from Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4 game).

Every night the Supertree Grove come to life with an amazing light and musical show, making it a joy to snap a video or enjoy the view, atmosphere and music! You could even go up one of the Supertrees and walk along the bridge of the OCBC Skyway ($8 per adult ticket). This allows all visitors to enjoy a splendid and unforgettable view of Marina Bay Sands especially during sunset timings.

Although the Supertree Grove is a sight to see up close and personal, that’s not all there is to see at Gardens By The Bay. The Flower Dome ($12 per adult ticket) also currently holds the Guinness World Record for largest glass greenhouse with over 3000 glass panels! It replicates the cool-dry climate of California and South Africa with over 32000 plants and has a 30-meter indoor waterfall. This is an especially great place to take photos with flowers of many different varieties while escaping from the heat and humidity of Singapore.

After visiting all the top attractions, enjoy a scenic treat with lakes that are filled with a rich source of aquatic life, from amphibians to fish and migratory birds. Dragonflies can be a little hard to spot as they fly amidst the plants and lakes but enjoy the sparkling river walk as you admire the aquatic life in and around the lake.

Overall, it is place I recommend visiting annually as they have special attractions going on during certain seasons. This is a place that is worth going for photos, a nice walk with your pets or just enjoying nature at its best.
