I recently enjoyed a staycation at The Scarlet Singapore, and I have nothing but praise for it. Here are the reasons why you should consider staying here too.
Firstly, let’s talk about the location. The Scarlet Hotel is situated in a rather secluded spot, offering you the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Despite its tranquil setting, it’s conveniently close to the central area, near Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar, making it easy to get around and explore.
Being housed in a shophouse, The Scarlet Singapore is surrounded by numerous other shophouses with restaurants, perfect for enjoying happy hour.
It’s also conveniently located near Maxwell Hawker Centre and Lau Pa Sat, ideal for those seeking affordable and delicious food.
The service is also outstanding, with friendly and helpful staff everywhere you turn.
The hotel offers a variety of rooms, including suites, executive, deluxe, premium, and others. I stayed in the premium room for $256++ a night and was immediately impressed by its elegance. The room was cozy and spacious, with a luxurious boutique theme.
Complimentary food and drinks in the mini bar, as well as a bottle of welcome wine was a delightful bonus.
The only downside was that the room was a bit dark, but this was a minor issue. Additionally, my room didn’t have a view, which was a bit disappointing.
Despite these minor drawbacks, The Scarlet Singapore is a hidden gem that everyone should experience.
