TNT, or Teens In Times (时代少年团), is a boy group under TF Entertainment, the same company that produced TF Boys. TNT is formed through the survival show Typhoon Project and debuted on November 23, 2019. Often referred to as TF Entertainment’s second generation, they are currently the most popular Chinese pop group.
Why are they so popular?
Their popularity stems from fans watching them grow and debut from a young age, fostering a strong sense of attachment.
Additionally, their striking visuals and captivating songs have attracted a wide audience, helping them accumulate more fans.
With several albums and songs showcasing different styles and personalities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Members
The group consists of seven talented members: Ma Jia Qi, Ding Cheng Xin, Song Ya Xuan, Liu Yao Wen, Zhang Zhen Yuan, Yan Hao Xiang, and He Jun Lin.
Liu Yao Wen, the youngest member, is one of my favourites. He originally belonged to TF Entertainment’s 3rd generation but earned his debut in TNT due to his exceptional abilities. Known for his impressive dance skills, he serves as the main dancer of the group.
Yan Hao Xiang is my bias. He is a skilled rapper who was previously known as Zhan Yi Wen when he was part of Yian Music Club. Yan Hao Xiang has already produced several songs, including “Y” and “尾号6208”.
How to know TNT better?
To understand TNT better, you can watch variety shows such as “Summer New Residence” and “This Is My Island.” For recent personal appearances by the members, Zhang Zhen Yuan is featured in “Keep Running” Season 12, Yan Hao Xiang appears in “Go Fighting!” Season 10, and Ma Jia Qi stars in “Brilliant Garden.”
Although the members are now often busy with their individual projects and variety shows, be sure to catch them while they are still performing as a group.
