Red Dead Redemption 2 is a video game I truly adore. Game developers, Rockstar Games have done the impossible once again. Their newest triple-A video game manages to set the video game standards to an all-time high for future game releases. A compelling story accompanies the vast and draw-dropping open world that left me wanting more even after 180 hours of gameplay.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a sequel to Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption. Set in 1899 of a fictional representation of the Southern-west parts of the United States, the game tells a story of a gang of outlaws that attempts to survive the ever-changing evolution of society.
The game places you in the shoes of Arthur Morgan. A member of the Van Der Linde gang. Faced with dilemmas of moral decisions to make, you decide Arthur’s every move that would impact the society around him. The game also places you into a strikingly massive and gorgeous open world to explore. From luscious forests to the chilly snow-capped mountains, every detail is so well attended by the developers that it makes you want to stop playing just to admire it.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Arthur, the protagonist of the game. I deeply resonate with the hardships that he faces (big spoiler if revealed), and the ending was such an unforgettable experience that you need to see. As time flies, you see Arthur form bonds with his fellow gang mates and, I got attached to some of the characters. However, you will occasionally face bugs and clunky controls but, that is just nit-picking.
The game is out on Steam, Rockstar Game Launcher, Epic Game stores for $79.99 if you are looking to get it on PC. Red Dead Redemption 2 is very intense on computers, as such it is advisable to ensure your system meets the playable requirement to ensure a smooth, enjoyable gameplay.
