Having announced its latest creation, Meow Barbecue is collaborating with Project LUNI by pledging food donations to feed stray cats for each Meow Platter-In-A-Can set ($66; UP $88) sold from now till 31st December 2023! Featuring six of their best-selling items set in a life-sized can platter, experience a delightful feast by simply opening the lid.
The Meow Platter-In-A-Can set ($66; UP $88) is good for 2-3pax and consists of:
- Meow Signature Spicy Beef: Sliced, grain-fed 129-day-old beef, marinated with pickled chilies for a tangy-spicy flavour.
- Premium Iberico Pork Belly: Imported from Spain, offering a perfect fat-to-meat ratio and a unique nutty umami taste.
- Black Pepper Pork Chop: Marinated to perfection, delivering a fiery burst of flavour.
- Meow Signature Chicken with Szechuan Peppers: Enhanced with green peppercorns and a secret house-made chili mix for an extra kick.
- Diamond Cut Marinated Beef Ribs: Tender meat marinated with a secret sauce, ensuring a delightful and savoury experience.
- Meow Signature Beef Cubes with Onion: Marinated oyster blade beef cubes served on a bed of onion petals.
The restaurant has decided to partner with Project LUNI (@project_luni), a non-governmental organization dedicated to aiding Singapore’s street cats since 2016 due to Meow Barbecue’s founder, Uncle Meow’s lifelong affection for cats.
Volunteer feeders associated with the project work tirelessly to provide sustenance to hundreds of stray cats throughout Singapore. Collectively, they feed at least seven hundred stray cats daily.
As part of this collaboration, Meow Barbecue will be donating cat food products from Jinny, a new cat food brand by Jerhigh. These include Jinny Tuna Topping Mackerel in Jelly, Jinny Tuna Topping Salmon with Gravy and Tuna in Gravy.
These products are designed to be not only tasty but also highly nutritious, featuring prebiotics to reduce hairball blockage, as well as taurine, vitamin A, E, and calcium for improved immune health and a lustrous coat.
The Meow Platter-In-A-Can will be available from now till 31st December 2023 and is priced at $66 (original price: $88) so eat good and do some good when you dine in today!
