What is your favourite Marvel movie? I would have to say mine is Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame. These two movies are just spectacular. From the effects to the storyline, I love it.
This morning when I woke up, I scrolled through Instagram and watch some stories and my friends were all reposting the ‘Eternals’ teaser trailer on their Instagram stories. I immediately search for it on YouTube and man was I excited.
Marvel Studios is back and will be releasing several new movies such as Black Widow, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Eternals. I am pretty excited for Eternals as new superheroes will be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Teaser Trailer
The teaser trailer was released on May 24th, 2021. Eternals tells the tale of ‘ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years’, according to the official synopsis. The story is set after the events that happened in Avengers: Endgame, resulting them to reunited and fight against an ancient enemy.
As seen in the trailer, the characters are seen showcasing their powers and even some romance scenes between some characters. I have to say that the casting was out of this world. There are so many familiar faces, and I am so excited for it to be released on November 5th, 2021.

Eternals is being played by so many familiar characters and I am pretty sure that this is going to a great movie. The characters include:

Just look at the cast! I am so pumped for this movie to be released. The MCU never fails to keep their audience coming back for more.
Eternals in the Marvel Comics
I am pretty sure we are aware of Thanos when he made an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. He was the first Eternal to appear on the big screen. However, there is more to the Eternals as they have dated back to the 1976 in the Marvel Comics.
In the comics, they were an offshoot of humanity on Earth who has powers and longer lifespan. They were created by the Celestials (a group of space gods), to defend planet Earth. Similar to Captain America and Guardians of the Galaxy, the characters in the movie are focused on the comic characters.
After watching the trailer, I am ready for this to be my next favourite MCU movie – new characters, new heroes and more. There is so much to expect from the MCU. Just the release of the trailer has many people talking and posting about it on social media.
