In December, anticipate a dazzling and thrilling experience as the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024 is set to welcome the new year. Ensuring an unforgettable celebration for people of all ages and backgrounds, the festivities include a breathtaking fireworks display, inspiring light projections, and exciting attractions like a go-kart arena and winter playground, accompanied by live performances.
The highly anticipated New Year’s Eve fireworks will unfold in three chapters leading up to midnight and are choreographed to narrate a story of reflection and hope. The display will commence with a tribute to the challenges and triumphs of the past year, followed by a celebration of new beginnings, culminating in a 12-minute grand finale that highlights the unyielding spirit of Singaporeans.
The immersive experience includes artisanal fireworks that change color as they burst and bloom into rings of different colors, accompanied by specially curated music played through speakers around the Bay.
Throughout December, the Marina Bay area will host a variety of festive programs and activities. “Brightening Lives” is a captivating series of light projection shows in partnership with The Majurity Trust.
Showcasing inspiring artworks on the facades of iconic Marina Bay landmarks, these projections, based on original drawings by talented students, depict stories of hope and empowerment in the community.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy the new immersive go-kart arena, TurboCharged, at the Bayfront Event Space from 14 to 31 December 2023, providing action-packed races against the Marina Bay skyline.
Adrenaline junkies should not miss out on this as you enjoy action-packed races with your family and friends. Cool off at the rooftop deck next to the track for a scenic view of the fireworks as well if you visit on New Year’s eve – a perfect spot for chilling as you usher in the new year together.

Back by popular demand, this attraction features a taller and longer snow slope, a dual-lane ice slide, family-friendly rides, majestic ice sculptures, and winter-themed entertainment for the whole family.
For a festive atmosphere, The Promontory will feature Mediacorp’s annual countdown concert, “Let’s Celebrate 2024″ on New Year’s Eve, with performances, live DJs, food and beverages, and carnival games.
The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay will also present “Come Together” a series of free music performances at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre and Esplanade Concourse, happening throughout December 2023.
