Legendary Hong Kong eatery Mak Man Kee Wonton Noodles has finally arrived in Singapore! Famous for its silky handmade wontons and Michelin-awarded noodles, Mak Man Kee opens its very first international outlet exclusively at Joy Luck Teahouse, Causeway Point. Get ready for an authentic Hong Kong culinary experience right here in Singapore.

Dive into Authentic Cantonese Tradition

Mak Man Kee’s journey began humbly in the 1940s, operating from a simple cart along Temple Street in Hong Kong. Founded by Mr. Mak Man-king and his wife Mrs. Mak Hung Siu-hor, their dedication quickly turned the brand into an iconic local favorite. By 1957, they established their flagship shop on Parkes Street in Jordan, Hong Kong, which is now helmed by their daughter, Lesley Mak, ensuring the legacy of their famous noodles and wontons continues.

Joy Luck Teahouse has carefully preserved the authenticity and heritage of Mak Man Kee while offering exclusive dishes catered to Singaporean tastes. Enjoy original favourites and creative variations:

  • Wonton Noodles (Dry/Soup) – silky handmade prawn wontons ($9.80)
  • Prawn & Chicken Wontons / Zha Jiang Mian – with delectable, locally-inspired sauces ($8.80 each)
  • Zheng Ji Teochew Beef Noodles – traditional flavourful broth that will warm your soul ($13.80)
