Gotti Italiano turns its focus to the South this holiday season to present a Sicilian Christmas special. From now till 31st December 2023, the restaurant is embracing the sun-kissed produce and richer harvests of Sicily for a limited-time Christmas Special Menu.
Indulge in Sicilian Christmas favorites spanning starters, mains, and desserts, each promising a small celebration of a South Italian Christmas with every delectable bite.
Commence your festivities with starters such as the Carpaccio di Gamberi Rossi ($28). Featuring a sweet carpaccio of Sicilian red prawns adorned with salmon ikura, sturgeon caviar and finished with feta cheese and squid ink snow.
For more robust flavours, the Tartare di Manzo ($28) offers a delicate tartare of hand-chopped fillet mignon enriched with a quail’s egg and textured with a sprinkling of bread crackers.
The Fegato D’Anatra ($32) on the other hand serves up smooth, buttery richness as premium duck liver coats the palate, accompanied by balsamic vinegar and a jam of peaches and cherries.
Transition to mains with the Aragosta ($48) linguine with a generous dousing of Chef’s Special lobster bisque sauce, the Risotto Al Gamberi ($32) that pays homage to multiple treasures of the sea or the Gnocchi All’Arrabbiata ($28) that presents potato gnocchi in a spicy arrabbiata sauce.
Fish enthusiasts can revel in the Dentice Rosso ($38), a whole snapper fillet dressed in a spicy citrus salsa, balanced with potato puree, beurre blanc sauce, pistachio, and cress.
For those craving bold red meat goodness, the Bistecca di Costola ($268) offers a whole Tomahawk steak made for sharing, served with the full frills of roasted baby potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, and beef jus.
Celebrate Yuletide cheer with the Torta di Tronchi ($16 per slice), a Yule log cake featuring rolled layers of chocolate ganache or conclude the meal with a true Sicilian sweet ending—the Cannoli ($28).
Furthermore, raise a toast to the holidays at Gotti Italiano’s Cocktail Bar with a selection of tantalizing tipples with all cocktails crafted in-house and priced at $26 unless otherwise stated.
