Golden Pillow 933 has launched a range of mix-and-match value set meals, just in time for any June holiday gathering you might want to host!
Golden Pillow 933 is known for their Golden Pillow Buns, which are huge loaves of bread that hide a secret pouch of curry inside. They come in various flavours like curry chicken, abalone curry chicken, curry fish, curry mutton, vegetarian curry mutton, flamin’ hot and Thai green curry chicken.
You can now get these Golden Pillow Buns as a value set together with their other offerings, in a variety of meal sizes. If you’re just eating with a pal or two, get the Buddy Set ($38.80) for 2-3 pax, which comes with a Golden Pillow Bun, a chicken/fish dish, a vegetable dish and 3 portions of steamed thai fragrant rice.
If you’re feeding a slightly larger group, you can go for the Family Set ($49.80) for 3-4 pax, which includes a Golden Pillow Bun, a seafood/vegetable dish, a side dish, an add-on dish and 4 portions of steamed thai fragrant rice.
We tried the Family Set, and the portion was perfect for four of us. We sampled the Golden Pillow Curry Mutton Bun, which included chunks of boneless mutton that were flavourful yet not too gamey. For our vegetable dish we opted for Fried Pumpkin with Salted Egg Yolk, which had the perfect salty-sweet balance between the salted egg yolk sauce and the sweet pumpkin.
We got the Deep Fried Beancurd Prawn Roll for our side, and it was a classic dish you can’t go wrong with. Finally, our add-on dish was the Crispy Fried Chicken Wings (6pcs), which came with a spicy chilli sauce on the side. This was another classic—perfectly seasoned wings to go along with the rest of our meal.
If you’re going to be feeding a crowd larger than us, you can choose the Golden Family Set ($81.80) for 4-6 pax, which includes a Golden Pillow Bun, a half fish head/seafood dish, a Party Platter, a vegetable dish and 6 portions of steamed thai fragrant rice.
Finally, if you’re going to be feeding a large group, you can pick their Ultimate Party Set ($123.80) for 6-8 pax. This comes with two Golden Pillow Buns, two vegetable dishes, a half fish head/seafood dish, a side dish, a Fragrant Garlic Deep Fried Prawn dish and a medium rice/noodle dish.
