To pay tribute to their humble beginnings, they have launched a new fisherman’s wharf menu at Georges® @ The Cove in Pasir Ris Park.
Bringing back that good old ‘kampong’ spirit of the community, the new menu now includes classic seafood dishes that are great for sharing. Taking inspiration from the famous Louisiana seafood boil, Georges® will feature a selection of seafood prepared with a modern twist.
Look forward to their Pimpin’ Prawns ($19.90), a classic charred prawn dish that has been elevated with the addition of kombu butter. Made with fresh seafood, the succulent meat is easily removed from their shells and sits atop a bed of baby green spinach and bright red tomatoes.
The Clam Ala Vino ($18.90) sees sauteed little neck clams with garlic and chilli in a white wine sauce which produces a strong flavour of the sea in its broth and just the right amount of kick. Served with garlic bread, enjoy slurping up all the goodness till the very last drop.
The Fisherman’s Adventure ($69.90) comes in two flavours – Sweet & Spicy or our personal favourite, Lemon Garlic Butter that is great for sharing between 3 to 4 pax. Featuring an assortment of prawns, mussels, scallops, white clams, crispy squid head, potatoes, corn, and pork sausages, you will definitely be spoilt for choice.
Looks can be deceiving if you decide to get the Sweet & Spicy option. Reminiscent of the famous Singapore chili crab, this dish packs on the spice that hits you at the end and we would recommend kicking back a few cold pints to sooth the heat. For a kid-friendly option, the classic lemon garlic butter herb sauce is our go to with chunks of garlic in a creamy and buttery sauce.
If you aren’t sure what to get, you can’t go wrong with Georges® classic Beer-Battered Fish & Chips (from $17.90). With a crisp exterior and a flakey tender fish paired with tartar sauce, this is the favourite combo loved by children and adults alike.
Interested to try their food but find that Pasir Ris Park a little too out of the way for you? Georges® is pleased to announce the opening of their next outlet at Bedok Reservoir in November 2022 as well as a second franchise outlet at Chua Chu Kang.
