Basketball courts? Singapore definitely has a lot of them around. However, there is little to no information on where they are found/how they look like. Even though there is always a basketball court in every neighbourhood HDB, no one knows how they look like. Even Google doesn’t even know.
Court by court, Own Your Court is devoted to reviewing ALL basketball courts in Singapore. To help the old, the young, the professionals and the amateurs, they want to drive the passion of basketball and not let it die out.
Where It All Started
Gaddiel, the founder of Own Your Court, found himself stressing out during his first job as a Project Executive. Out of the blue, a childhood friend of his asked him if he wanted to play a game of basketball on a Tuesday evening.
After that Tuesday evening, Gaddiel felt energised.
Every Tuesday from then onwards, he would head down to Cairnhill CC to have a basketball session with his friends.
“The comfort of basketball and the feeling of familiarity really grounds me,” Gaddiel said. His passion for the game pushed him to create Own Your Court – an online platform to list and review all Singapore basketball courts.

Getting to a basketball court would be one of the top priorities when it comes to visiting a basketball court. They provide their readers with an idea of how to get there and food options through personal written experiences.
Condition
The availability of a net, lines of the court and the height of the rim are all critical factors when considering the quality of the basketball court. They post and update photographs of the basketball courts to ensure that readers get a good look at how the court looks like, before going down!
Cost
Covering both paid and free options, they provide information on how much you may have to pay to book a court. Although most basketball courts in Singapore are public courts, you may find some private basketball courts that are more suitable for you.
