- Study the Basic Theory Test (BTT) and Final Theory Test (FTT) handbook covering traffic regulations, road signs, and driving practices.
- Achieve a passing score on the BTT and FTT, which often requires thorough preparation and may involve retaking for some.
4) Driving Lessons
- Choose your preferred driving school and commence practical driving lessons guided by certified instructors.
- Practice vehicle handling, road safety, and situational awareness to prepare for the official Practical Driving Test.
5) Practical Driving Test and License Issuance
- Pass the Practical Driving Test conducted by a Traffic Police examiner to demonstrate safe driving skills.
- Undergo any required medical examinations.
6) Probationary Period and Beyond
- Navigate a probationary period where new drivers must adhere to stricter rules and regulations.
- You would be required to purchase a probationary plate to inform other cars on the road that you are a new driver for your safety as well as for the safety of others.
- Finally, stay updated on traffic laws and safety practices to maintain driving privileges and enhance road safety.
