With the bubble tea craze in Singapore that does not seem to be dying down anytime soon with the amount of chains popping up all over the island, adding to the mix is “不要对我尖叫” which translates to “Don’t Yell At Me”, a Taiwanese Bubble Tea Brand that is set to open in Singapore end October 2021.
Co-founded by Yako Chan, a Taiwanese variety show personality and entrepreneur, Dont Yell At Me now has over 380 stores internationally in countries like China, Japan, USA, Canada and Malaysia and is known for their hand shaken beverages.
Finally making their way to Singapore, the café is set to open at Orchard Central with a minimalistic concept for a clean and sleek look.
Although the menu for Singapore has yet to be confirmed, we can expect hot favourites like their Winter Melon Chrysanthemum Tea, Osmanthus Thé Au Lait, and Grapefruit and Lychee Fruit Tea.
With a range of fruit teas, coffees, milk teas and sparkling beverages available on the Taiwanese Menu, let’s hope we will be spoiled for choice once they launch in Singapore. Apart from the usual black and white pearl offerings, toppings to expect can include the mini taro or sweet potato balls which is a popular substitute in Taiwan.
As a café cum bubble tea chain, light bites such as cakes and pastries along with “Don’t Yell At Me” merchandise will also be sold by the end of the year. More information will be provided so do follow their website and their Instagram page for the latest updates.
