Capturing Moments Through Digicams

It has become increasingly common to find individuals sharing film-style pictures on their social media profiles, captured using digital cameras or “digicams” from the 2000s. The trend has grown to the extent that people are now incorporating filters to emulate the nostalgic effects of film photography.

To join this trend, you’ll need to get your hands on a digicam. You can find them in specific shops or opt for online platforms like Carousell.

Sometimes, you might stumble upon second-hand ones, but as long as it’s functional, it should do the trick.

When making a purchase, be cautious and check if the digicam includes features like forced flash or flash-on mode, as well as a clean screen and lenses.

If buying a digicam isn’t an option, don’t fret. Apps like Dazz Cam or Lightroom now allow you to add that film effect to your photos, creating the illusion of digicam captures. After all, once you post online, who can really tell?

Getting on the trend is a breeze with today’s technology. Just grab your phone or digicam, and you’re all set to dive right in.

Whether you’re hanging out with friends or travelling across the globe, digicams or these apps can be your companions everywhere.

Capture every moment and embrace the authentic vibes, no matter where life takes you.
