About John Robertson
Robertson began his stand-up career at the age of 17 in 2002. After establishing his stand-up career in the United Kingdom, he made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2010 with his solo show, A Nifty History of Evil. Since then, he has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe every year, frequently in tandem with his live-action video game stand-up performance, The Dark Room.

This point-and-click comedy presentation takes spectators through a 1980s-esque text-based choose-your-own adventure live-action video game where a series of alternatives are provided with the possibility to win £1,000.
How do you like to play? The audience is locked in a retro gaming, complete with a nasty end-of-level boss. Choose between surviving the abuse simulator that is improv comedy overlord John Robertson and escaping to earn £1,000 – or being mercilessly assassinated by the rest of the audience…
