Beauty in The Pot is reopening at The Centrepoint after a two-month hiatus, unveiling a luxurious concept featuring its renowned seafood signatures. Ideal for celebratory occasions, it also introduces a special collaboration with Hanjip Korean Grill House, offering Korean cuisine from 24 June to 31 August 2024.
To enhance the dining experience, the restaurant will be adorned with Korean flags and served by staff in traditional Korean costumes, accompanied by K-pop songs.
New dishes include the 3-in-1 Korean Banchan (Korean kimchi, chilled bean sprouts, and sweet & spicy anchovies with peanuts; $10.90).
The Chorong Chorong Fruity Green Tea Soju Tower ($25.90) is a refreshing fruit green tea with grape-flavoured soju that is very refreshing and a great addition to add to your hotpot meal.
A surprising addition is the Crispy Sweet and Spicy/Soy Garlic Shi Meiji Mushroom ($9.90), reminiscent of Korean fried chicken. Each fungus is lightly battered, freshly fried, and coated in Korean spicy garlic or soy garlic sauce.
Tip: If you order a glass of ice-cold beer, it’s almost like having chimaek (chicken and beer) in Korea!
What is Beauty In The Pot without some hotpot? For broth lovers, the star of the new menu will be the exclusive Sa-rang-hae Kimchi Shrimp Broth (from $10.80). Cooked with a medley of fresh prawns in a pork bone broth, and perfected with Hanjip’s signature kimchi it adds a deep savoury and umami richness that goes well with fresh cuts of meat or seafood.
Notably, Beauty in The Pot Seafood Signatures at The Centrepoint features seafood specialties such as Alaskan King Crab, Dragon Grouper and additional soup bases like Fish Maw Chicken in Vitality Broth and Nourishing Seafood Lobster Broth.
