If you do not own a kite, you may head down to the ground level to get one from the kite shop. Among the various options are angelfish, ladybugs, squids, snakes, and more. These cost as little as $22 for an entry-level, 1.2-meter wide kite and as much as $80 for a sizable kite meant for experienced fans. Remember to account for the price of a line and reel as well. A cotton-stringed reed costs $9, while a nylon-stringed one costs $13.
Other than flying the kite, you two may enjoy the silhouette of Marina and even the night lights and skyline of MBS. Friendly reminder, do get there early as it will get crowded especially on the weekends.
Cost of kites: $20 – $80
