The Szechuan Poached Chicken Cold La Mian ($16.80) from LeNu has soft chunks of poached chicken in a spicy sauce. Along with the tenderness of the chicken, it practically provides a melt in the mouth texture.
This dish would undoubtedly appeal to spice enthusiasts. The sauce had a numbing Sichuan peppercorn flavor and has a similar resemblance to a tasty mala dish. With the addition of the century egg and chicken pieces, it helped to enhance the dish to the next level. In our opinions, this dish is definitely suitable at any time of day even in Singapore’s hot and humid weather.
For those who are hardcore fans of truffle, Le Shrimp’s Ebiko Prawn Paste Tossed Truffle Ramen ($18.80) could be an option for you. Alongside their homemade truffle sauce, the dish comes with their popular prawn balls topped with spring onions for more colour and texture.
