If you love Pizza Express’s Christmas menu in the previous years, then you are going to be head over heels in love with this year’s offerrings. With the return of popular favourites such as the Christmas Tree Doppio and The Natale Pizza, be ready to dig in with both hands in delight.
Other delish dishes such as Oven-Baked Brussel Sprouts with Sweet Corn Riblets ($8), Seafood Cioppino with Penne Pasta ($30) and a Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake With Vanilla Gelato ($16) will be available on the menu as well from 1st to 31st December 2022.
With a very fragrant taste, the Christmas Tree Doppio ($17.80) depicts and edible tree topped with pork pepporoni, mozzarella, parmesean cheese, herbs and spices all pressed together. Enhance the flavour by dipping it into the sauces at the side: pesto Genovese and pesto siciliano sauce. (It is not spicy, I promise) The dish is also topped with a star-shaped spiced cinnamon cookie drizzled with sugar glaze to end things off on a sweet and special note.
New on the menu is the Oven-Baked Brussel Sprouts with Sweet Corn Riblets ($8) by Pizza Express. The quintessential brussel sprout is prepared with the most classic methods of pure unsalted butter and oven-baked with spanish red onion and sweet corn riblets. Finished off with a dash of extra olive oil and black pepper, the dish is extremely fragrant and goes great with the pizzas and pastas on the side.
Generous on the ingredients, the Seafood Cioppino with Penne Pasta ($30) is a must try for seafood lovers. It is cooked in a rich stew of fresh Tiger prawns, black mussels and squid rings, sweetened with yellow peppers, celery, wild mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and Spanish red onions. The ultimate comfort food for your taste buds!
The star of the show would definitely be The Natale Pizza ($32) that is generously topped with an assortment of sweet and savoury ingredients. With a flat and crispy crust, this is the absolute defination of Pizza Haven and a must-have when you visit Pizza Express.
End your meal on a sweet note with the Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake With Vanilla Gelato ($16)! The ultimate combination of Vanilla and Chocolate, this dessert has chocolate fudge cake layered with chocolate ganache. In between, fresh strawberries, blueberries, vanilla gelato and whipped cream enrich the entire experience, topped off with Christmas cookies, chopped pistachio and icing sugar.
