We’re all aware that the animators at Pixar Studios & Disney developed films that make grown adults feel heartbroken while also causing copious quantities of tears to be shed in dark theatres. With so many animated films available, the classics are still the best and these are the ones that are worth rewatching time and again.

Wall E
Wall-E is a remarkable achievement because you feel for the lonely little robot on his Earth cleaning mission right from the start — the film is mainly wordless, so even very young children can comprehend his misery. The film progresses from there, sending Wall-E into space to play the role of a courageous little hero. (Plus, its environmental message couldn’t be more timely.) Watch now on Disney+!

Up
On the surface, Up appears to be a film about an elderly guy embarking on his final trip. That, however, is only the top of the iceberg. We enjoy Up because of Carl and Ellie’s sweet love story, which is so captivating that the first 11 minutes will make you feel like you’ve known them for 60 years.
Life is an adventure, as Up reminds us. You can miss it if you’re too focused on chasing an unachievable ambition. You’ll want to pay close attention to boy scout Russell’s struggle to get his father’s approval and attention — it’s not your conventional happily-ever-after, but it’s one in which all the characters discover fresh happiness in the end. Inside Out
Nothing is more complicated than a pre-teen’s emotions, yet Pixar not only addresses them with care, but also develops a fascinating (and emotional) movie about the sentiments that rule a vast universe within a little girl’s head.
Riley’s brain is command central, and new memories are impacted by the five personified emotions residing in her brain’s HQ – joy, anger, sorrow, fear, and disgust – and preserved as small glowing gumballs to be sorted into long-term memory, core memory, or dumped down the memory cliff. The Incredibles
When a show gets a sequel, usually its because it was a big hit in theatres. Like Incredibles 2, this film has plenty of thrilling superhero action, with the male heroes lifting, stretching, disappearing, and running their way to victory. They must, however, learn to operate as a team, which is something that many families can relate to at some time. Watch now on Disney+!
You might think we’ll be immune to their melancholy plot twists after crying a lot from watching countless Disney and Pixar movies, but I don’t think our feeble hearts will ever be strong enough to resist the tugs on our heartstrings. Rewatch some of these classics today!
