I’m back with another set of games for you to enjoy together. Here’s a selection of four games that we think will suit a variety of family needs. A classic party game for mixed-level parties, a cooperative adventure for up to four players, and a nonviolent and humorous game for somewhat older family members.
1) Jack Box
I recommend pulling out one of the Jack Box party packs if you want something for the adults to do after the kids have gone to bed, or if you don’t have any kids at all at your family/friend events.
They’re jam-packed with amusing minigames that encourage users to participate on their phones by drawing crazy pictures, inputting strange phrases, or answering trivia questions. We like them because they’re ridiculous, simple to pick up, and a breath of fresh air in comparison to other competitive games that may be stressful. Check out the game on:

2) Overcooked 2
It’s difficult to find a good video game that will pique the interest of the entire family, but “Overcooked!” 2 offers enough modern and retro elements to please both parents and children. The best part is that it necessitates conversation, which allows for some entertaining family game nights.
Instead of sitting silently side by side playing a game, players must communicate, plan, and collaborate to gather ingredients, cook them, plate them, deliver orders to customers, and clean up while beating the clock and earning stars for the restaurant. Check out the game on:

3) Luigi’s Mansion
This action-packed video game starring Mario’s favorite sidekick will delight fans of Ghostbusters and all things creepy. Unlike other Mario games, you play as the anxious brother who uses his trusty vacuum pack to combat ghosts. Although the game can only be played by a single player on story mode, there are minigames as well that will entertain your family or guest. Check out the game on:

4) Mario Party Superstars
Mario Party Superstars belongs in everyone’s Nintendo Switch collection because it’s one of the best ways to entertain a bunch of people with different attention spans, tempers, and degrees of experience. Any number of people may come together and enjoy—or at the very least, survive—family game night thanks to the game’s simple controls and straightforward gameplay.
Even if you have one pro player in your group, there’s no guarantee they’ll win every time. There are plenty of unexpected happenings in the game, like bonus points for landing on the most red areas or traversing the shortest distance, which can be earned in the final ranking. Cooperative games are a great way to spend a fun time with family and friends. On top of that, you can probably sneak in a good abdominal workout from all the laughter that is sure to ensue.
