There is this particular stall, located on the side of the road next to a petrol station, that is being flocked by many from all over the world. Many have dropped good reviews about how delicious and refreshing the original coconut shakes are. It can’t be confirmed but Klebang Original Coconut Shake was said to be the first place to make these coconut shakes.
Klebang Original Coconut Shake is an establishment at Klebang Besar, Melaka. Naming themselves as the original coconut shake, it definitely gives them additional pressure in my opinion. However, they have delivered what they promised and have establish themselves as the original.
Their coconut shake consists of fresh coconut flesh and its juice and a dollop of ice cream. They would blend everything together with lots of ice. Unlike Singapore, this concoction only cost RM 2.00!! If you are feeling fancy and want to add a special touch, you can add an extra ice cream topping. This special concoction will cost you around RM 2.50. Do note that prices are pre-pandemic so cost might have gone up in recent times!
Some may beg to differ and say that ‘Not So Original Coconut Shake’ stall just off Jonker Street is much better than the latter. Regardless of which stall it is, include this place in your itinerary when you visit Melaka in the near future.
