Established in Holland Village since 2012, d’Good Café is a cosy 2-storey café that serves award-winning coffee (Australian International Coffee Awards) and hearty café classics.
Fill yourself with all-day breakfast such as Egg upon Egg On Toast ($13.50), where poached egg, cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes are wrapped in omelette and staked atop mixed greens, honey-baked ham and thick brioche. Other popular mains include Truffle Shrimp Capellini ($17.50) and Chef Alonzo Fried Rice ($14.0) loaded with prawns, bacon, and sambal.
Because there’s always room for desserts, end your meal on a sweet note with a selection of their house-baked cakes and Deutsch skillet pancakes. No trip to this café is complete without its signature Maple Sea Salt Cheesecake, a cake uniquely tied together with Philadelphia cream cheese, dashes of maple syrup, and Maldon sea salt. After the iconic windmill in Holland Village has given way to a modern mall, the only windmill you could find in the hood is at d’Good Café. The swing seats by the window are the most coveted seats to watch the world go by while the attic on the top floor turns into a cocktail bar after sunset.
From cold to hot, Eph518Cocktail Bar serves cocktails infused with their own coffee and tea. With each cocktail starting from $16, you could start with Stir Me Wide Awake (an Old Fashion drink served in a smoking lantern) and end with Tea Party (a gin-based hot cocktail served in a teacup).
