It’s pretty hard to come across a pair of shoes that you wish you could wear every day but can’t. This shoe is affordable but impossible to wear because it is a work of LEGO art. The adidas Original Superstar set, a fresh and unforeseen collaboration between LEGO and adidas, is here. A first of a kind venture for both companies.
The LEGO Adidas Superstar is a sneaker constructed entirely of LEGO bricks. It’s a buildable toy of the original adidas Superstar sneaker in black and white, complete with shoelaces and a unique shoebox. The original Superstar silhouette was first materialized back in 1969 as a low-cut basketball shoe. Like other timeless shoes like the Chuck Taylor All-Stars, it effortlessly transitioned from the court to the street of stylish teenagers and has been the go to shoe for legends such as Basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and rap group Run-D.M.C.
The distinctive toe box and three stripes highlight their newest joint endeavour and is an exact copy of the original Superstar. Unlike the legendary sneaker’s leather upper, the LEGO replica’s upper, toe, heel, and Three Stripes, as well as other elements, are all made of LEGO bricks.
However, real laces are even included in the LEGO Adidas Originals Superstar, which you can tie in any manner you want. When you get your sneaker, it will come with a little brick-built pedestal that you can use to display the shoe on whatever side you like.
You may create either the right-foot or left-foot sneaker with this kit, which includes 17 additional LEGO pieces, and you are encouraged to add your own touch to the model as well.
The model spans over 12 centimetres tall, 27 centimetres long, and 9 centimetres wide, which is approximately the size of a US10 shoe and will be loved by anyone who likes adidas, streetwear collectibles, as well as LEGOs.

To add on, LEGO Singapore is bringing a larger-than-life version of the LEGO Originals Superstar model to Singapore where you will be able to take as many pictures as you want with it! Measuring 2.05m in length and 1.34m in height, the large Lego installation will be on display at Vivocity from 1st to 7th July 2021 and Suntec City from 8th July to 31st August 2021, to the delight of sneakerheads and LEGO enthusiasts alike, so don’t miss it!
