Starting out at Geylang Bazaar with their signature local rendition of Philly cheesesteaks, the small kiosk dished out 10,000 cheesesteaks in a month to bazaar crowds. Toko Burgers has since expanded its lineup to include burgers.
Their beef and chicken burgers, which start from $6.90, are handmade daily with fresh ingredients and topped with signature sauces to cater to all tastes.
The Toko ($6.90) is the classic but popular cheeseburger made with in-house patties. For those who prefer meatless burgers, there’s the Impossible™ Toko ($12.90). The Cowboy ($8.90), topped with turkey bacon slices, onion rings and smoky BBQ sauce, will appeal to burger lovers who want something new.
Their ever-popular take on the Philly cheese steak, aptly called The Philly ($8.90), comes with freshly grilled ribeye slices, melting cheddar slices and garlic aioli. You can even build on the flavours with add-ons like mushrooms, salsa and bulgogi.
A range of sides from nacho cheese fries to popcorn chicken is available with each main. The beef chilli fries ($5.40) come crinkle-cut and are paired with a hearty chilli con carne-inspired sauce.
Toko Burgers is a takeaway outlet but offers islandwide delivery through their website. Those looking to dine-in can head to Supper Deck at Simpang Bedok, launched by the same group behind the brand. Designed as a laid-back place to enjoy Toko Burgers favourites fresh off the grill, Supper Deck also offers local wok, pasta and western fare that will surely satisfy a wide range of cuisine preferences.
