I am pretty sure almost everyone has experience pimple outbreaks at some point in their lives. It is pretty frustrating if you ask me. Every time I have plans with family and friends, these pimples will start forming. All I want is clear skin!
There are so many skincare products out there available for everyone. However, animal testing has been involved in several skincare production procedures. This is something extremely important. Animals are not props or test samples. They are living things that deserve to live.
Thus, using cruelty-free products is something that I have adopted ever since I started using skincare products. Let’s look at some of the best cruelty-free skincare brands!
Herbivore Botanicals
Herbivore is a skincare brand that brings you products that are safe, natural, and highly effective. Their products are made and tested by the team on people, not animals. They believe in the power of nature to bring results you can feel and see.
They offer a wide range of products from face to body to tools as well. One thing that I really love about their products is the simplicity of their packaging. They offer cleansers, serum, facial masks, face oils and more! Their body products include body scrubs, polishes, oils and more. Furthermore, you can also purchase tools such as jade rollers, Gua Sha and kits as well.
Sand And Sky
Another cruelty-free skincare brand is Sand and Sky. I am pretty sure most of you girls are aware of this brand due to its highly recommended Australian Pink Clay Mask. Founded by twin sisters, Emily and Sarah Hamilton, Sand and Sky uses 80 per cent of Australian flora and fauna to ensure that results can be seen after its first use.
Similar to Herbivore, this Australian indie skincare brand offers a wide range of products from moisturisers to face masks to exfoliators and cleansers. Apart from that, you can also purchase their collection of body products such as their Wonder Body Lotion, Smoothing Body Sand Scrub and more.
Fresh Beauty
Founded by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg in 1991, Fresh Beauty was driven by their spirit where the sky’s the limit. Fresh adheres to the strict international safety regulations. Beauty was inspired by boundless curiosity at Fresh. Founders Lev and Alina spend their time travelling the Earth in search of natural wonders and cultural wisdom.
Fresh Beauty also offers a wide range of products based on the different series. Some series include Kombucha, Lotus, Soy and more. Products offers by Fresh include moisturisers, serums, toners, cleansers and more.
I am currently using the toner from their rose collection and I am in love with it. It leaves my skin hydrated and it smells divine.
The Inkey List
Driven by the belief that better knowledge powers better decisions, The Inkey List is all about understand the skin to make the right decisions. The Inkey List was founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018.
Recognisable by their simple packaging with shades of black and white, this brand offers a wide range of products from skin to hair. Some of their skincare products include eye creams, boosters, face masks and more. Majority of their products is dedicated to treat the skin – Hyaluronic acid, retinol and lactic acid and more.
I have always to get products from The Inkey List but have not gotten the chance to. I am definitely going to try them out soon!
These are just some of the cruelty-free skincare products available out there. I believe that all of us should work together to protect these animals and opt for cruelty-free products instead. You can purchase all of these brands via Sephora, both at their stores and online!
