Uniqlo has announced its latest collaboration with Australian based print designer, Cassie Byrnes. She is well known artist famed for her abstract explorations of natural flora and unique fauna in often vibrant primary colours. Given the loud nature of her designs that fits well with the UT branding , it’s a surprise that this is going to be the first time the Australian print artist will be working with Uniqlo. This UT line includes both modern designs created specifically for UNIQLO and her classic patterns, which are adapted to women’s T-shirts, shorts, and pants. The collection also includes dresses for girls, making it simple to match looks between mothers and daughters for summer outings. “The collection includes some of my favourite prints that have been developed throughout my design practice over the past 6 years as well as new prints created specifically for this collaboration” Cassie Byrnes commented. From this we should be expecting some really top notch apparel perfect for the all year round summer weather in Singapore.
