More and more people are looking for techniques to lose weight these days. Switching from soda to healthy beverages such as green teas is one example. However, you may be wondering which tea is best for weight reduction.

Tea is a beverage that is enjoyed by people all around the world. The consumption of tea has been linked to a number of health advantages. In addition, some people drink warm tea to get a good night’s sleep, while others drink tea to lose belly fat.

  • Green Tea

Because of its health advantages, green tea is one of the greatest teas for weight reduction. This type of tea is frequently found in over-the-counter weight-loss supplements.

Green tea has been demonstrated in studies to help you lose weight by boosting your metabolism. The effects of green tea preparations on weight, BMI, waist circumference, and hip to waist ratio were studied in a Cochrane systematic review that comprised 14 controlled studies.

Participants in one research who coupled a daily routine of 4-5 cups of green tea with a 25-minute workout lost 1 KG more than those who did not drink tea. Maybe drinking a cup of Green Tea isn’t so bad after all.

  • Kombucha

Kombucha is a fermented tea created from a symbiotic bacterium and yeast culture (also known as SCOBY). Vitamin B, detoxifying glucuronic acid, and antioxidant-rich polyphenols are among its many health advantages. Most significantly, kombucha includes probiotic bacteria and acetic acid, making it one of the greatest teas for weight reduction.

These ingredients have been clinically shown to help people lose weight. Do note however that the taste may not be appreciated by some. This is because kombucha is inherently sour or tart (like drinking fruit vinegar) as the drink becomes more acidic in nature when left to ferment longer.

  • Rooibos Tea

The leaves of the “red bush” plant are used to make Rooibos tea, which is only cultivated in the Cederberg region of South Africa, near Cape Town. The unique and potent flavonoid Aspalathin is what makes rooibos tea so excellent for your stomach. Although the word tea is included in its name, Rooibos is actually a herbal infusion and does not contain caffeine.

Polyphenols and flavonoids present in the plant, according to South African researchers, reduce adipogenesis (the creation of new fat cells) by as much as 22%. Additionally, the molecules improve fat metabolism. Furthermore, Rooibos is inherently sweet and contains no calories or sugar.

  • Goji Tea

Gojis are made from the Lycium barbarum plant, which is a traditional Asian medical therapy for diabetes that also has a slimming effect. Participants were given either a single dosage of L. barbarum or a placebo after a meal in a research published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.

The goji group burned calories at a rate 10% greater than the placebo group one hour after the intake, according to the study. The effects were said to last up to four hours! The majority of goji is usually blended with green tea, that greatly increases your calorie burn even more when you consume it.

  • Pu Erh Tea

Pu-erh tea is a sort of traditional fermented tea that originated in China’s Yunnan province. After the tea leaves have been dried and rolled, it is oxidized. In a 2016 research, 59 overweight and obese patients drank Pu-erh tea every day to see if it helped them lose weight.

Researchers discovered that drinking the tea on a regular basis led in considerable weight reduction, a lower BMI, and a better lipid profile. The individuals demonstrated fat loss on their arms, legs, and abdominals, as well as a reduction in overall mass, after only four weeks. A decrease in appetite was also noticed by the individuals.

Although many individuals drink tea for its relaxing benefits and exquisite flavour, each cup may also aid you in your weight loss journey. A cup or two of tea, together with a good diet and regular exercise, may help prevent belly fat from accumulating so try it out today!
