For those new Carats out there, you might have heard of “Going Seventeen” (Also known as gose) or not. For those who are unsure of exactly how this is related to Seventeen, it is a variety programme whereby Seventeen members play games and ultimately have “fun”. It is also one of the ways Carats get to understand Seventeen members better outside of their roles as K-pop Idols.
That being said, in today’s article I’m going to recommend a series of episodes that has either wow-ed me or kept me at the edge of my seat to help you assimilate into this fandom.
1. EGO
EGO is split up into 2 episodes. It is known for the mind-blowing plot twist at the end and the creepy discoveries the members make as the show progresses. The story brings you through the eyes of the members, waking up in an unknown white room 2 by 2. In pairs, they roam around an abandoned building in search for an escape route while simultaneously running away from a killer right on their tail.
You’ll know as much as the members and slowly discover the truths with them, and I think that is a really interesting concept to try especially if you’re a mystery lover. This episode also brings about a creepy aura not only because of the choice of location but also because of all the wrong turns and decisions the members may make. Overall, a very good show to binge.

2. Tribal Games
For a much more lighter, comedic relief, this is the episode you should try out. Tribal Games is also split up into 2 different episodes. With MC Boo Seungkwan, the remaining members versus each other (6 VS 6) in a series of Tribal Games. If you’d like to get to know each member more and their unique personalities, then you could try watching this episodes.

3. The Tag
This 2 episode game is one of the first gose episodes I watched. Another horror edition episode, members go into an abandoned building with dim lighting in search for a key to escape the building with 3 serial killers on the run against them. Unlike “EGO”, this episode is a little lighter and comedic in nature, and the way the episodes were filmed in “The Tag” are also less story-like and more of the members themselves.
In these episodes, you would also be able to tell who the cowards in the group are. Personally, what got me into watching this episode despite not even knowing Seventeen then was the fact that Minghao turned the tables on his turn… watch to figure that part out.

4. Don’t Lie (II)
“Don’t Lie” is a series of the famous mafia game, with small changes here and there. It has 3 series hailing from 3 different seasons. In “Don’t Lie (II)”, the game is a combination of the mafia game and treasure hunt. The citizens have to find for rolls of money the mafia hid and at the same time eliminate all 3 mafias hidden within the members.
A fun game that is also light in nature yet super enjoyable to watch.

5. MOUSEBUSTERS
Totaling up to 3 episodes worth, Mousebusters is a stress reliver kind of episode. The episodes is as its name suggests, catching mice. With 4 members with the role of mice and the other 9 members as Mousebusters (mouse catchers). The story goes as there is an infestation of mice leading to rice shortage, the Mousebusters are summoned to eliminate these pests. Thus, the adventure begins, where the mice are to hide from their predators.
However, these mice have special abilities, making the lives of the mousebusters more difficult. However, I personally found the last game the most hilarious – the penalty game. It got me gigging uncontrollably at some point.
