I started my 30 Day Challenge to walk 10000 steps a day from 1st May 2021. And in a blink of an eye, we are into our last week of the challenge. So how did Week 3 go?
I was saying the previous week, I was not feeling that well, thus was not able to complete 10,000 steps on Day 13 through to Day 16. I thought it was better to rest and recover than to push myself too hard. But once I’ve recovered, I was able to hit my daily 10000 steps a day.
Last Week’s Challenges:
Other than not feeling well earlier in the week, my main challenge was to find time to hit the walkway everyday now. Since we are all working from home, I hardly clock the normal walking steps I normally do while walking to and back from office, lunch time and the occasional toilet trips (it’s a distance away, really). Whenever I have the opportunity to walk, I will grab it now, if not I will end up having to do evening walks (evening is an understatement, more like late night walks actually, nearer to mid night.
Watching my weight drop slowly, but surely, is indeed very encouraging. It helps me to watch what I eat everyday even more so. In fact, it becomes easier for me to resist overeating, the longer I am into the challenge as I didn’t want to waste all the effort I had put in so far into this 10000 steps a day challenge.
What’s Next For Day 21 – 28?
I won’t be too ambitious in thinking that I will be able to increase my steps going into the last week of the challenge due to the current WFH arrangement. But I am still rather positive about the outcome of this 30 day challenge and what benefits it will bring to me at the end of the day.
PS: I lost about another 500g off from Week Two to Week Three. Hahaha
