Having been around since 1899, Wo Wo Dian has embraced a steamed bun and rice noodle concept, preserving recipes for over a century. Renowned for their steamed buns crafted with laomian 老面 (traditional sourdough), a time-honoured technique from Mianyang, the restaurant still follows the traditional recipes that have been handed down across multiple generations.

Wo Wo Dian (窝窝店 百年包子) is a culinary gem that emerged on a quaint junction in China, earning the affectionate moniker “Ao Ao Dian” from the locals due to its unique location.

As time passed, this evolved into “Wo Wo Dian,” a name that echoed through generations, reflecting the restaurant’s deep-rooted connection to its heritage.

Century-Old Traditional Pork Bun ($8.90) and Century-Old Sauce Pork Bun ($7.90)

Must-try dishes include the Century-Old Traditional Pork Bun ($8.90) and Century-Old Sauce Pork Bun ($7.90), boasting chewy buns and succulent meat. Those craving bolder flavours should opt for the sauce pork bun that is packed with juicy filling and a special in-house sauce.

For noodle enthusiasts, the Szechuan Beef Broth Rice Noodles ($13.90) stand out as a culinary masterpiece, offering a harmonious blend of tender noodles, savoury meat, and a tantalizing hint of spice.

Indulge in the tender Boiled Pork Belly with Spicy Sauce ($25.90), where the staff pours hot fragrant oil over the meat for a sizzling sensation. With just the right amount of fat-to-meat ratio, the sauce and meat melds together harmoniously with a spicy kick.
