Pets are the best companion in life, be it cats, dogs, rabbits, even hamsters. As a pawrent myself (more like a sister), my cats are my best friends. Though they do not speak like us humans, they have their own ways to show how much they love us.
Every month, my family and I will head down to the pet store to get all the things we need for my cats such as food, treats and toys. It is like a monthly stock up for their food pantry. I do enjoy finding new treats for my cats, but the pet store only has certain brands and type of treats. This can be pretty hard as my cats are very fussy when it comes to their food.
What is PetExpo?
PetExpo has got to be the best place to shop for new treats, toys, and other things for your pets. It is Singapore’s largest pet event that happens annually. There are about 102 exhibitors, and the event would attract more than 31,000 visitors every year.
I have only been to PetExpo a few times and it was a fun experience overall. That was actually before I had cats. The fun thing about visiting the exhibition is that not only we get to look at the products that are being sold but we get to see pets too! Exhibitors and visitors will bring their pets down to the expo.
We get to see cats, dogs, rabbits, and other pets as they play with their toys and even making friends with other pets. I have to say it was pretty hectic as much as I can recall.
This Year’s Edition
This year, due to the pandemic, PetExpo is moving online! You can purchase goods for your pets via the website. Simply select the items you wish to purchase, add them to your cart and proceed with checkout.
Apart from just purchasing your items, you can also sign up for online talks as invited guests share their knowledge about pet care and others. There are so many things you can purchase during the entire month of June. You can purchase food and treats to stock up your pets’ food pantry. Surprise your pets with new toys too! I have a whole ‘playground’ for my cats at home and they love it.
Other things you can purchase for your pets include beds, scratching posts for cats, grooming tools, shampoo, wipes and more.
