There is nothing better than bonding with my family over delicious food. We are often sitting and eating together at the dining table. We believe that it would help tighten our ties especially now that most of us are staying home due to the pandemic.
It is a great opportunity to catch up with family members. Back in the 1960s to 1980s, the people of Java, Indonesia would eat nasi ambeng served in a huge dulang (tray). Comprising of eight dishes surrounding streaming white rice, the dish is meant to be shared with up to eight people. It is said that the dish signifies unity and togetherness.
Nasi ambeng is actually one of my family’s favourite dish but there are times when we really do not know where to find the best. Little that they know there are so many places offering authentic nasi ambeng. Let us look at the top 3 restaurants serving authentic nasi ambeng in Singapore.
