Travelling to Bangkok? Thailand is known as the land of smiles, and all visitors are warmly welcomed here. With delicious street foods, night markets and places to shop to your heart’s content, here are some of the top few places to go to in Bangkok that will guarantee you a fun time!

Siam Square

Siam Square is a popular shopping and entertainment district located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. It is known for its vibrant atmosphere, trendy fashion boutiques, local designer stores, and popular cafes and restaurants. 

A shopper’s paradise, Siam Square offers a huge range of local and international brands. It is home to several large shopping centres, such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and MBK Center.

In addition to a shopper’s paradise, Siam Square is also a foodie’s delight, with a myriad of restaurants, cafes, and street food stalls. You can find everything from local Thai cuisine to fusion cuisine.

Some shopping centres at Siam Square include:

Siam Paragon – This is a luxury shopping mall with a huge range of designer brands to beauty products and homeware. You can find popular luxury brands like Dior and Gucci.

Siam Center – This shopping mall offers a mix of local and international fashion brands and accessories. It is known for its trendy and youthful fashion offerings, with popular brands like Zara.

Overall, Siam Square offers a diverse range of shopping experiences for visitors, from luxury to budget shopping, and everything in between.

Safari World Bangkok

It is a vast park that features two main attractions: the Safari Park and the Marine Park. 

Safari Park – This is the largest open zoo in Thailand, featuring a wide range of wild animals from around the world. Visitors can drive through the park in their own vehicles or take a guided tour to see animals such as lions and giraffes. It feels as if you are actually in the Savannah in Africa.

Marine Park – This park offers a range of marine animals and shows, including dolphin and sea lion shows, bird shows, and a variety of many other animal exhibits.

Some of the animals you can see at Safari World include:

Giraffes – Visitors can feed giraffes from a raised platform in the Safari Park area of the park.

Elephants – There are several Asian elephants at Safari World, which are highly revered in Thai culture.

If you have been on Tiktok, you would know about the famous photo-taking opportunities with the funny and mischievous monkey. As seen on Tiktok, the monkey will be playful and hold your hands or they might even kiss you. Take photos with the monkey at your own risk!

Chatuchak Market

Also known as a weekend market,  Chatuchak Market is one of the most popular shopping destinations in Bangkok, Thailand. 

With over 15,000 stalls and covering an area of 35 acres, Chatuchak is one of the largest outdoor markets in the world. 

A wide variety of products, suitable for every taste and price range, are offered in Chatuchak. Everything from traditional Thai handicrafts to current fashions and antiques can be purchased by tourists.

You can find a wide range of Thai handicrafts at Chatuchak, such as handwoven baskets, silk scarves, and wooden carvings. There are also a variety of artwork and collectibles at Chatuchak, such as paintings and vintage posters.
